- This hackathon is open to professionals related to or working in the automotive and manufacturing industries in the DACH and Central Europe regions.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Teams of 3–5 members are recommended. Individual registrations are also welcome — solo participants will be matched into teams on the day.
- Participants may begin ideating and building preparatory assets after registration and receiving the Preparation Guide. However, the core solution must be built and demonstrated during the hackathon on June 19, 2026.
- Projects must use the technology stack described in main section and in preparation guide.
- Projects must address a use case relevant to automotive or manufacturing industries.
- Pre-existing code, templates, and open-source libraries are permitted as building blocks.
- Teams retain intellectual property rights to their projects.
- Each team will have 5 minutes for a live demo and presentation to the judging panel.
- Teams must demonstrate a working solution and explain their architecture.
- Presentations must be completed by 4:00 PM CEST on June 19, 2026.
Projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges from AWS, Redis, and Storm Reply based on:
- Innovation & originality (20%)
- Use of real-time data with Redis (20%)
- Clear business value for automotive/manufacturing (20%)
- Technical execution & architecture (20%)
- Quality of demo & presentation (20%)
Judges' decisions are final.
Prizes- Prizes will be awarded to the top-placing team as determined by the judging panel.
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Any data used in projects must be publicly available, synthetic, or provided by the organizers.
- Do not use confidential company data, customer PII, or proprietary datasets in your hackathon project.
- AWS workshop accounts provided during the event are temporary and will be decommissioned after the event.
All participants, mentors, sponsors, and organizers are required to follow this Code of Conduct. Organizers will enforce it throughout the event.
