About the Event

Join us for a fast-paced, one-day in-person hackathon where you'll build real-world GenAI solutions for the automotive and manufacturing industries.

This hackathon is a joint initiative by Amazon Web Services, Redis, and Storm Reply — bringing together the power of AWS's AI/ML platform, Redis's real-time data capabilities, and Storm Reply's deep automotive cloud expertise. Together, we're creating a unique environment where automotive and manufacturing professionals can explore how Generative AI and Agentic AI can transform their industry — from the factory floor to the finished vehicle.

Why This Collaboration Matters
  • AWS provides the AI foundation: Amazon Bedrock for foundation model access, AgentCore for production-ready AI agents, and the cloud infrastructure to scale from prototype to production
  • Redis delivers the real-time data layer: sub-millisecond vector search, streaming data ingestion, and the speed that automotive and manufacturing workloads demand
  • Storm Reply brings industry expertise: as an AWS Premier Consulting Partner specializing in automotive cloud solutions, they bridge the gap between cutting-edge tech and real-world industry requirements
What You'll Build

Teams of 3–5 engineers, architects, and data scientists will prototype AI-powered solutions that solve real problems across the automotive and manufacturing value chain:

Factory Floor & Manufacturing

  • Real-time anomaly detection on production lines
  • LLM-powered operator assistants for troubleshooting
  • Quality & defect classification pipelines
  • Predictive maintenance and bottleneck analysis
Logistics & Operations
  • Fleet routing optimization
  • Supply chain anomaly prediction
  • Natural-language queries over live operational data
Inside the Vehicle
  • AI-powered in-car assistants
  • Context-aware infotainment personalisation
  • Driver profile-based recommendations

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation & originality
Does the idea feel fresh and creative? Does it challenge assumptions or approach the problem in an unexpected way?
  • Use of real-time data with Redis
Is Redis meaningfully powering live data flows? Are capabilities like vector search, streams, or pub/sub used to deliver sub-second responsiveness?
  • Clear business value
Who benefits from this solution, and why does it matter? Is there a real pain point being solved for automotive or manufacturing users?
  • Technical execution & architecture
Is the solution well-architected? Does it demonstrate thoughtful use of Bedrock models, AgentCore, Strands SDK, and Redis working together?
  • Quality of demo & presentation
Is the live demo compelling and functional? Can the team clearly communicate what they built and why it matters — not just slides, but a working prototype?
